Be Brave Be Creative and Don't forget to Smile

MINDFULNESS

What a big word... I would like us to just read it again... MINDFULNESS 
take in the meaning of the word

" a state of active, open attention on the present " OR 
" living in the moment and awakening to experience " 

Now that is done i can assume everyone will agree on the fact that its a key element to have in our modern day classroom. When we have this present in our classroom it opens up a numerous amount of oppertunities and doors for both the students and teachers
Having mindfulness we as teachers can have become more accessable and available to students 
When being mindfull we take into concideration we have losts of different students infront of you and that you need to create a platform for open communication where worries concerns and uncertainties can be heard. This can be both way the commnication. While communicating we as teachers should enable the students reading and writing skills. We as teachers should have empathy for our students and also understand them individually and they must also understand you as teacher from the start what you expect of them and they of you in return and that you dont stand bullying and harrassment of any degree and if the student ought to be mindfull they wont be bullying other fellow students but insteand promote social bonding among another.

When being mindful all of the above bold and underlined statements will be achieved or ticked of when a check list is checked. To establish and effective teaching environment in classroom we must be mindful about the students social, academic and behavioral background. 

Positive home and school relationships will envolve when both student and teachers are mindful and awakens the now and present. To help with teaching in a mindfulness environment we can also make use of teaching strategies such as vygotksy's social constructivism and the classical conditioning behaviorist theory

So to conclude if you as teacher establish mndfulness in you classroom in visa versa direction and have all the bold and underlined aspects in place you and you student will get to your longed Lesson outcomes

Be brave
Be creative 
And dont forget to smile

spice things up 🔥

Social media is becomming a great ideal for teaching in the 21st centuary 
Therefore it will be a good idea to start implementing it in your classroom everyday
Yes there are a few concerns about safety ect
But isnt there a lot of concerns in life as whole 

As i see it, it is how you see it or in this case use it and make the best of what you have within the safety boundaries away from evil and hackers and bad person outthere. We live in a world today where if youre going to wonder what is the whole time youll forget how to live life and enjoy it.

So implementing social media in classrooms is perfect and just another way to spice up your teaching ability and to make boring work more interesting. 

I would definitely as a teacher use remind in my classroom to cut out the excuse that the learner forgot to do the math sum of physics homework. 
And as i started blogging this year initially i thought oh boy how boring and how am i ever going to be able to do this... And now i can say i quite frankly enjoy this. So in my math and physics class i will use a blog so that each child can send or blog what they thought about certain elements in class and questions they have and inthe process everyone in class can see so the interaction relationship among another will become better and i will also be able to see what they think and then we can look at those aspects the next day. Because some students express their feelings better when they write rather than when they talk about it. 

This was a few nice ways to spice up my teaching and connecting with my students and what a nice topic to think about more in the future....

sitting with goosebumps

wow!!!
what an empowering jam packed emotional rollercoaster video that was....
Starting out at first i thought oh well here goes just another boring video and soon i realised i should stop en just take in what i am seeing and what is to come... During this video i came to the realization that there is so much in teaching that we learn or ever could imagine. And not all schools are priveledged like im used to and that student in less priveleged schools also have dreams sometimes bigger than ours ever could be. Dreams that kept them going even if they didn't have food on the tables and the going got tough their dreams never died its what kept them going. dreams to rise above their surcomstances and create a better world for themselves that they found themselves in currently. How priveledges am i to be able to one day have and influence on these young people and to help them persue their dreams to keep on watering their dream so that one day they get to flourish in life and become the people or person they have dreamt their whole life about. Us as teachers should graps these challenges and these dreams of our students and make it our goals to help them excel in every subject we teach to help them to develop into the person they want to become. To prepare them to the best of our abilities and to set them free so that they can pass matric and enter the big wolrd equiped to becom who they want to. Us as teachers should empower and encourage these peoples of ours and buy into their dreams to help us reach our goals so that they can reach their goals.

Let us as teachers change the world one student at a time by educating them to the best of our abilities

Technology in the Classroom

Heel eerste dink ek moet ons verklaar en duidelikheid skep oor die definisie van wat digitale pedagogie werklik is. Wanneer ek, ons menslik daaroor dink sal ons seker aflei dat die definisie iets moet lei as volg... Pedagogie is onderrig van leerder deur onderwyser/ dosent met behulp dan van digitale middele soos elektronika en dat tegnologie die hoofbeen van Digitale Pedagogie is. Of te wel 'n meer gekonstruktueerde definisie sal lei  dat digitale pedagogie die gebruik van tegnologie as poging om die ervaring van onderrig te verryk of te verander

Wel volgens Paul Fyfe se "Digital Pedagogy Unplugged" artikel is digitale pedagogie nie noodwendig slegs elektronies nie en speel tegnologie nie werklik sulke groot en alleenlike rol in Digitale Pedagogie nie.

Digitale pedagogie is nie werklik die enigste manier is ons leerders se aandag te kan behou tydens klasse, hulle geinteresserd te hou gedurende lesse of optimum stimulasie in verskeie onderrig gebiede te voorsien nie. Fyfe vertel ons dat daar wel verskeie ander maniere kan wees om bogenoemde verwagtinge te oorkom sonder die hulp van elektroniese aparate of elektronika soos rekenaars en projekters hoofsaaklik. Sonder dat leerders verveelt raak wanneer onderwyser vanaf PowerPoint skyfies aflees of nie aktiewe interaksie met leerders het nie.

In die artikel lees ons van "Teaching Naked" wat nie wel letterlik kaal beteken nie, maar wel net beteken om leerders te onderrig sonder die gebruik van rekenaars of projekters en om eerder meer deel te neem aan klasgesprekke. En dat die digitale deel van "Digital Pedagogie" nie noodwendig digitaal moet wees nie, maar eerder iets wees wat interaktiewe, normale en ontspanne klasgesprekke bevorder en inisieer om sodoende beter onderrig te ontvang en en beter te verstaan en te onthou wat in die klasse aangebied word.

cheers to the first one

I dont really know what to say so im just going to blog about my day so far

Started with gym @ 6am 
What a session that was... 😅😅

Train insane or remain the same 💪💪

Then i had class and then i went to take a nap 
Because im not feeling too good today
A bit feverish post nasal drip and a hectic headache

now in class again..
